Release Sofia - A New Festival for Bulgaria

Born from Release Athens, one of Greece’s leading music festivals, Release Sofia launches in 2027, bringing the festival’s experience, identity and vision to Bulgaria for the first time.

Created to become an annual meeting point for music fans from Bulgaria and the wider region, Release Sofia will feature major international and local artists across a diverse programme, combining large-scale live shows with high standards of production, safety, comfort and hospitality.

Building on a decade of festival experience in Athens, Release Sofia begins a new chapter, bringing different audiences, genres and generations together through music and creating memorable experiences that go beyond the stage.

A new city. A new chapter. Making Memories Together.
